My love of photography began just a few years ago, during the COVID-19 Pandemic lock-down of 2020. My birthday gift from my family that year was a camera. I began taking it on our regular hikes and soon developed a hobby about which I am passionate.

I belong to two excellent photography organizations in St. Louis, The Missouri Nature and Environmental Photographers (MONEP) and Women in Focus St. Louis (WIFSTL).

In 2021 one of my photos was chosen by the Foundation for Photo/Art in Hospitals to be placed in healing environments around the world. To date that photo hangs in hospitals in Nepal, India and Zimbabwe.

My photos have been included in the Missouri Department of Conservation Natural Events Calendar for 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Two of my photos were included in the Women in Focus St. Louis exhibit entitled “Lens to the Soul” held at Grafica Fine Art Gallery in St. Louis. I had my own exhibition at the Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center in Kirkwood, Missouri in 2024.
